About

The Thousand Islands Film + Stage Artist Residency invites artists working in performance to participate in film and theatre projects, staged readings, script development, poetry and audio recordings.  Each residency is a project-driven, short term stay.

Directed by Kathleen Reichelt and Wesley Rickert who have been working together since 2008, managing artist run spaces, producing short and feature length art films, audio recordings and live performance.  They are both writers and performing artists, and together have performed as Burning Iceberg in NYC, Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Paris.
